Tenants of Rosemount Workspace
& Rosemount Development Trust

LifeLink North Glasgow was officially launched at the Millburn Centre, Royston in 2004. This crisis intervention service provides free and confidential support and advice to those living in the north area of Glasgow who are aged 12 and over, in crisis and self-harming or at risk of suicide.
If anyone feels unable to cope and are in need of support they should contact LifeLink or call in at the project itself. The service is completely confidential except where there is a child or vulnerable adult at risk.

Film Industry

Rosemount Workspace achieves vibrant occupancy levels. It is interesting to note that some of our early tenants were from the film industry, for example "The House of Mirth" featuring Gillian Anderson and Dan Akroyd.
Robert Duval's film "The Cup" starring Ally McCoist, was one of our autumn tenants as well as the BBC's "Bloodline", an adaptation of an Arthur Conan Doyle novel.

Toonspeak Young People's Theatre

Toonspeak Young People's Theatre is based in the Millburn Centre to the rear of the main building. At Toonspeak we provide drama and theatre activities for 11-25's living in the North of Glasgow. Our aim is that young people take an active role in the running of Toonspeak. We provide: Free weekly drama workshops, At least one large-scale production a year, An outreach programme of taster workshops and holiday activities, An empowerment programme (workshops designed by you in subjects like digital photography, animation and website design).
This summer Toonspeak mounted one of their most ambitious projects to date - a show, involving over 40 local young people, performed in a big top in the heart of the Royston Community at Glenconner Park.
Whether your interest is in acting, backstage, design or admin, if you are aged 11-25 and live in the north of Glasgow then Toonspeak is for you.
We are based in Royston but we run workshops and projects in Royston, Springburn, Sighthill, Blackhill, Barmulloch, Balornock, Milton, Possil and Ruchill.

Rosemount Lifelong Learning

Rosemount Lifelong Learning offer childcare and after-school care places to students and working families, and training courses for mothers in Computing, Community Health and Care, European Computer Driving Licence and English for Speakers of Other Languages. We now have a careers guidance service for people who are working but who are in low paid jobs, and an outreach guidance service for parents using nurseries in other parts of North Glasgow. Family Literacy workers provide a new service for parents at the Flexi Centre and in nurseries in North Glasgow.
